taylor swift songs turned into a poem... sort of :)

so ive been on this taylor swift kick for the last fear days and decided to make a poem. i havent written a poem in a really long time but was inspired by her to make this. shes one of my favorite singers/artist and inspires me so much! and these are my favorite songs! (the titles of the songs will be in all caps!)

texas haul!!

for those of you who read my tavel blogg you know that i just got back from texas. you will also know that i did a lot of shopping. since i got so much stuff im not going to show you everything, just some of my favorites!!!

to start these are some bracelets i picked up when i went to cotton on. not sure if i have talked about this store in length but let me just say i love this place. yes the clothers are a little more expensive but they are amazing! i have skirts and leggings and even shoes from here. but these are my favorite things to get there. these bracelets are charity bracelets and they are only $1 no tax and super fun and cute. i have a ton of them but these are the ones im wearing now cuz i like them. also all procedes goes to a village in africa that the store sponsors. so that's good too!!

so techinaclly my cousin got this for me but i still love it and wear it everyday. it's a ring set from new york and company that i love! it's 5 rings that you wear all together or make different sets with. i like to wear all 5 but i also like to wear two of the smaller ones together on days i don't want to have them alll on. it's hard to see but they are little flowers and little crystals. they're super cute and i love them!

now this is something that i didn't neen since i have a ton of makeup already but i just couldn't resist! this is a brand that i didn't know about until last week and i feel sooo stupid since i think it's a target brand and im there all the time! it's the elf elements brand and i love it. i was going to get more stuff but decided to wait till i get back to vegas since my suitcase it full! this is just a little compact that you bet for $1 and you pick the colors you want to put into it. all the colors were just $1 and i really liked these ones. the first is a light lavender purple then an off white highter then a bronze color and a dark brown. i really like this brand plus it isn't expensive but all the colors are really good.
this is my most favorite purchase! shoes! i got these shoes on sale for $10 at cotton on and i love them! they are sandel/boots that zip in the back and you lace them up in the front. i have been looking for shoes like this for forever! and im so glad i got them. i wansn't going to at first but then i said what the heck! and got them anyways! they are super cute and super compfy and i just adore them!

clearly this isn't everything i got but there was just waaay too much to put it all in one blog post. if i feel like it i might do another and show some of the stuff i got from claires and some clothers my cousin gave me but that will have to wait!

what's in my purse/bag??

WHAT'S IN MY BAG??

so this is the sequal of my last post about what i have in my makeup bag. this is just the stuff that i carry around with me in my bag. i have a couple of bags that i use on a regular bases and right now im using a satchel messanger bag that i got as a gift from my cousin. so here's whats in my bag!







this is just a small notebook that i carry with me for when i need to remember something so i can just write it down or when i hear a song that i like i can write it down. i got this and several others from the dollar store.

these are just my wallets. the black one with the charms is my actuall wallet with my money and cards that i need on an everyday bases. the cute little pink one was a present from my cousin and it's a coin purse with the chesire cat on it. and that last one is a card wallet with different cards like my library cards and old gift cards and stuff.



these are my current sunglasses. i used to have a different pair but they broke :( so i got these litterally for a dollor at claires during one of their 10 for $10 sales :) ive never had white sunglasses before but i really like these.

these are just some travel size lotions that i keep with me for just in case. the top one is my favorite. it's from sephora and it smells amazing! they have a whole collection of these and i love them! the middle one is one from a bath package thing that i got. it's a fresh minty smell and i like it even though i don't use it a lot. the bottom one is the travel size of bodycology. it's cupcake/birthday cake and i don't remember where i got it but it smells delicious!

meet sheldon! no not sheldon cooper! my camera! this is my baby. i got it for christmas last year and i love him! it's a him cause it's blue. duh! i love this camera. it's my first camera that's all mine. no one else uses it. just me. and i swear i baby this thing. i don't go anywhere without it cause you never know when you are going to want to take a picture! oh, i should probably tell you what kind it is. it's a kodak easy share camera and it's amazing!

this is just my travel makeup bag. i put my lip gloss that i want for the day and my chapstick in there and throw it into my bag. i also have a travel size waterproof makeup remover from sephora in there for just in case i decide to stay the night somewhere i don't want to be without it. i also have a pair of nail clipper and a nail file in there for emergencies! so that's all the crap that i carry around with me daily!

whats in my makeup bag??

WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG???
so i've been noticing this trend where people tell you what's in their makeup bag and so i thought i would give it a go and show you guys what's in my makeup bag and the products i use on an everyday bases!

ok. so these are my eye brushes. the first one is a green paint brush but it's at an angle so i use it to line my bottom lashes w/eye shadow when i don't feel like wearing eyeline. the next one is an all over brush that i use when im just gonna wear one color. thee little one next to that is another all over brush that is made like a pencil brush and comes to a point at the top. i use this for everything. i can blend and shade with it and i use it everyday. now im not sure where the one next to it came from. i didn't ever know that i had it until couple of days ago. the next one is my conceiler brush. i don't wear a lot of concealor because i don't like it and it makes me feel like i havent washed my face so i don't use a lot of it. the last one is a shader brush that i use to soften lines and blend eyeshadow.

these are my powder and blush brushes. the first two are my bare minerals brushes that i got lst year for my birthday. i use them to apply my poweder and mineral veil (that im out of and need to get more of) and the last one is my blush brush. i actually don't have any blush that i like right now. i don't really need it cause my cheeks have a natural red to them so i only were it when it looks bad and splotchy just to even it out.






these are my face products. as you can see i don't use a whole lot. i would have more but i need to go to sephora and get more bare minerals since im out :( but right now im just useing these. the powder disc i think is makeup forever and the concealor stick isn't from an actual brand. it's a pretty funny story too. i got the stick from my cousin who got it for christmas one year in one of those big makeup sets of cheap makeup and she has a darker complection than me (im suuuper white) and so she gave it to me. now at the time i was only like 12 and didn't wear a lot of makeup and wasn't sure what it really was. so i took and and said thank you and shoved it into a makeup bag and never used it. then about a year later i found and really liked it. so ive been using it since then and only have a little bit left and i have no idea what to do when i run out cause i haven't found a new one that i like yet.

now this is just some cheap primer that i got at walmart for like $5 and i have to say that i love it. it's from the hard candy brand and that brand is kind of for like tweens and younger people and it kind of sucks. i feel like most of their stuff is more for the goth and scene kids but i really like this product. it was cheap but it works really good. when i put this on before my eyeshadow i know that my makeup isn't going to start flaking off and looking like crap!

this is my current everyday eyeshadow. it's and estee lauder set and the lighter color is a pink wish some shimmer and i usually just put it on my lid and under my eyebrows for a highlight.

the darker color is a brownish purpleish color and i usually will take my pencil point brush(the third brush in the picture) and aplly it to my crease and outer corner and under my lashes on the bottom last line just at the very corner.




now for mascara i am a huge cheapo! i don't like buying the expensive stuff from sephore. i would rather use great lash a.it's less expenisve and b.it works the same for me. the reason i have to is simple. i use the green one for my top lashes cause the wand is larger and thicker and coats them evenly and i use the black one for my bottom lashes because it's smaller and i don't get mascara all over the underneath of my eyes.

im not a huge fan of having stuff on my lips. but when i do i like these products. the chapstick is just burts bee's spf chapstick that i use all day everyday. it makes my lips really soft and i really like using it.

the lip glosses are both from avon and they are my second favorite glosses. they were kind of cheap but so far i really like them. i have a darker color for when i go out at night and a lighter pink color for daytime.

the reason they are my second favorite is because my absolute favorite lipgloss is buxom's lip plumper glosses and i like the color bunny. i am currently all out of it and am not in a hurry to spend $20 on lipgloss right now. :)

now i know this isn't a lot of makeup but you have to remember. this is just what i currently have in my everyday makeup bag. i have TONS of makeup that i don't use everyday. this is not even 1/4 of my makeup. i just like keeping the stuff i am currently using everyday in a seperate bag so that it's easier to find. i might (sometime when i get back to vegas) do one of all my makeup but that will have to wait since i didn't bring everything with me.

12 things about me

this was sent to me in an email and i decided instead of sending it out to just a few people who already know these things about me i might as well put it here so that people who don't know this stuff about would get a chance to know me better. it's just 12 simple questions feel free to copy and paste and answer them in a comment below!

1. what do you order at starbucks?
well i don't usually go to starbucks a whole lot and since im naturally hyper i don't need the extra ceffeine. so i usually get a small vanilla bean frapacino.

2.what's one thing in your closet you can't live without?
that's a really odd question. since there are lots of things we need. but if i had to pick something i would probably have to say my cotton on leggings. they are my (currently) absolutely favorite thing to wear. i got them as just something to sleep in cause they were on sale for like $2 and they were soft and comfy but i didn't think i would like them as much as i do. they are so soft and just easy to wear and i like to wear them down to the pool with a t-shirt to just sit in and read.

3.what's one thing that most people probably don't know about you?
there's a lot that people don't really know about me. but if i had to pick one it would probably be that people don't know how serious i can be. a lot of people think im just laid back and don't really care about being serious and i don't put thought into my decesions but i actually do. i put a lot of thought into everything i do. that's why sometimes it can be frustrating when i am trying to be serious about something and people just don't get it or take me as serisouly as i want them to cause they are so used to my silly side. yes i am silly and like to have fun but when it comes down to it i take things seriously.

4. name one thing you want to do before you die.
well that's a pretty vague question. there's a lot i want to do and im still really young and have time to do a lot. but if i had to pick one thing it would be to travel to a foreign country. there isn't a specific place because i would eventually like to go to italy, london, ireland, scotland, canada, japan and many other places. it's always been a dream of mine to do a year of travel and do a blog about it.

5. what's one food you cannot live without?
hmm. that's kind of hard. probably if i had to say anything it would be chiken. i don't know why but that's like my favorite thing to eat. and there's so many ways you can make it that the possablilies are pretty much endless.

6.what qoute/phrase do you live by?
that's easy. live, laugh, love. it's three words but it describes everything about me pretty much. i always try to live life to the fullest and take nothing for granted. i laugh whenver i can. whether it's small giggle or teary eyed full on laughing histarically i love it. and i love everyone.. mostly. it's just a general thing with me. and it doesn't have to just be people. it can be animals, places, objects. everything. i feel if you can love someone/something you can be happy.

7.what's your number one most listened to song on i-tunes?
currently?i think it's skyscrapper by demi lavato. it kind of sums up my life and i really like the message it has. another song i've been listening to a lot lately is the new katy perry song part of me.

8.what kind of style would you describe yourself as having?
my style is all over the place. i have more fancy going out clothes to simply jeans and comfy t-shirts that i like to wear. so i guess it's eclectic. i like to try everything and be adventures.

9.favorite number?
16. why? because that's how old i am right now. i always told myself that at 16 i would have an amazing boyfriend, i would drive everywhere by myself and have so much accomplished. and yet here i am. no boyfriend. i don't drive (yet) and most of what i have accomplished is a short story and this blog. and having amazing friends. i am slowly finding out that you can't map out your life. it took me a while to learn this lesson but you can't predict how you will turn out. especially at such a young age. it took me 16 years to learn that lesson and learn who i am (at this moment) and to learn to just go with the flow of this ride we call life.

10.two hobbies?
well obviously writing. it's such an easy way to let your emotions flow and ot be whoever you want. you can use a pen name and no one has to know that it's you. or you can pretend to be a character and explore you who are without having to go out and do crazy things.
also hair and makeup. most people don't know it but i am obssessed with my hair and makeup. i am always trying out new looks and different ways to do my hair/makeup.

11.two pet peeves.

• snotty people. i CANNOT stand people who think they are better than others. it drives me nuts!!! in my mind everyone is equal. it doesn't matter how much or how little someone has when it comes to material objects. it's what you have to offer and what you bring to the table and how you act. you can be the richest man or the poorest man. it doesn't matter to me. if you have a crappy attitude then you have some major changes to make.


• people who don't listen. when i say something i don't want to re-peat myself. and i want you to actually HEAR me. not just say you are listening. when i talk i want my message to be clear. people who don't listen when someone is talking ot them iritate me. if you are in a conversation with someone and you want them to listen to you then show them the same politeness and listen to them.

12. a guilty pleasure?

i have two of those. one is sephora. i looove sephora. whenever i walk in i know i will walk out buying something. it's just one of those things i do . i walk in there and i feel relaxed being surround by product after product and i know when i buy something from there im going to like it.

another guigly pleasure would be anime. for the longest time i have loved anime. it's just one of those things that if i'm having a bad day i can watch an anime and i feel better. i love the characters and how the possabilities are endless! you can historic or complete fiction and it doesn't matter becuase you know it isn't realy and yet you fall in love with it anyways.

bath and body works signiture line

i recently went to bath and body works and picked up some new lotions from them. the ones i have are from their signature line and i have midnight pomegranate, bali mango and arubo coconut. so far my favorite one is the coconut. it smells like a pina calada and i am in looove with it. i don't really like the midnight pom but it does smell good. ive been using these lotions for about a week now and i have so say i l ike them more than i thought i would. they are really good for when my hand are dry from washing them all the time and they really do make them feel a lot softer. however i would not advise using them for your face. they made mine feel dryer than before and and it felt like i had a bunch of stuff on my face and made it feel really sticky so i just ended up washing it off. so i just use if for my hands, arms, legs and stuff.
also i wanted to make it known that i only got the small bottles. i didn't want to get the bigger ones because i didn't know which ones i was going to like plus i like to carry them around in my bag and i don't want them to take up a whole bunch of space in my bag. so i just have the 3 ounce bottles of lotion. plus they were on sale for 3 for $10. so instead of spending like $25 on them i only spent $10 plus got a free gift. :) and free gifts are always good. so good luck and happy shopping!

argon leave in conditinor

since i have been in california i have noticed that my hair is a little dry. so my cousin told me to

try this conditionor that she uses. its called one argon and it's a leave in. now when i use it i only put it on the ends of my hair and i do it BEFORE i shampoo that way when i wash it out i know that i am getting all of it out and that it won't make my hair greasy. now im not a scientist so i don't know what all argon oil does for your hair but let me just say i really like this stuff. i don't use it everyday but when i do my hair is sooo soft. it feels like i just went and had my hair cut and washed at a salon and i love it. especially since i have bleached the tips of my hair and that makes it really dry if i don't take care of it and this stuff helps a lot with that so if you have bleached hair you can use this and it will help with it. also she has an everyday use conditionor of this that you can use everyday but i don't really like it cause it makes my hair look dirty if i don't get it all out and i don't like to spend forever washing my hair in the shower. but other than that i really like this stuff. i would highly suggest people with dry, damaged, or bleached hair.

sephora faom face wash

I just started using sephora's foam facial wash as my night time face wash for after i take off my makeup since the makeup remover that i've been using (sephora water proof makeup remover) leaves my face really oily and if i don't want it afterwards it gets really dry and irratated. so i went and bough this and i have to say i really like it. it's a little bit more than what i would usually spend on face wash but im hoping it will last me a while. it was only like $16 for the big bottle.

i really like the way my skin feels after i use it. it's soft and feels clean. and you don't need a lot of it to wash your face. you only need 1-2 pumps. i just wash my face all over then use COLD water to rinse my face off. the reason i use cold water and not hot is because hot water will open your pores and cold water will soothe and close them. so that's why i do that. so basically i like this stuff. it doesn't really have a smell to it or any fragrances so that's good since i have sensitive skin and that kind of stuff irritates my skin. so if you have sensitive skind i would deffinetly reccomend you try this out.

fun valentines day t-shirts!

so i know most of you wont have time to go out last minute and make these t-shirts but i still had fun making them today and really want to share them with you. they are very easy to make and can be worn on other days not just valentines day. they are cute to wear with your boyfriend/girlfriend or just to wear to school and look festive. i made two and am giving one to my cousin since we are both currently single and we decided to be each other's valentines today. so this is what you will need!

• siscors (totally can't spell that right!)




• t-shirts. now you can go anywhere to get simple t-shirts and they can be any color. i went to michael's craft store because they were having a sale.




• white paint (or any color you want)




• ribbon

here are the steps. you can skip these first steps if you want since it can be kind of hard to do them but i thought it would be really cute.

• start by taking your washed t-shirt and put it on. now mark where you want to cut it (to make is an off the shoulder shirt) and take a sharpie or marker and cut it. remember to palce the line a little higher than you want to since you will cut UNDER the line so you can't see the marker.




• now take your cutting tool and cut lots of little horizontal lines around the seam of the top of the shirt not cutting it off the seam (if it doesn't make sense then i would skip this part.




• now you are going to braid the strands together by taking the first one and the second one and looping the second on UNDER the first and continuing this.

here is the video i watched where i learned how to do this. also note that i DID NOT do any sewing because i didn't find it that important. also in the video she only does the front while i went ALL the way around the top.

i reccomend you watch this FIRST if you are going to try this on the top of your shirt so that you can see how it's done. also you can cut it to where the it goes from your right shoulder or your left shoulder. do whatever is more compfortable for you. also i did not put a bow on it or the little beads/pearls. also after you watch how to cut the angle you can skip to 1:18 to see how to braid it.

ALSO i did not sew the braid shut i took a piece of ribbon and tied it together cause i was really lazy.

now for the painting! the easy part!

• get a paper plate and squeeze the paint onto for dipping. i just used my finger cuz it was easier for me to do.




• now start painting hearts all over in whatever design you want! it doesn't have to be perfect it can be however you want it to be. but i will suggest you not do too many just so it doesn't look crowded and you're done!

computer suck.... sometimes.

so sorry people! i know i haven't posted ANYTHING in a little over like.... a week and 1/2. but i have a really good reason for not posting anything. my cousins computer (im using hers since i didn't bring mine with me) crashed. it got a virus from who knows where and hasn't been working so ive been stuck without internet and haven't been able to do anything about it. but! now its working again and i have a lot of catching up to do! i can't promise that i will make up for every day that i missed but i will try and get as many as i can up today and tomorrow. i have lots of fun pictures to share from my weekend and a cool project to do for valentines day that i had meant to put up like a week ago but didn't get to it since i had no computer! but i still want to share it with you since it is valentines day today. that's all for this since i have lots to post today!

nails review

so i know i was totally in love with the nails that i showed you how to do but i have to admit. the charm wore off really fast. i think what really made me mad was that they started peeling right after i took a shower. and it just wasn't working for me. so i took it off all of my nails other than my ring fingers and painted all the other just the silver color and used the glitter ones as an accent color. im still pretty bummed about it though cause they looked really pretty. im pretty sure that i will not do that design again unless im like going of for the night somewhere special. they just don't last long enough for me to enjoy all the hard work i put into them. when i do my nails i like to enjoy them and make them last and show them off. they would however make a good design for like prom or a valentines day date just do a pink glitter and a pink nail polish instead of silver. i might even consider doing green glitter for st. patricks day. other than that i can't think of an every day use for them. that's all for this one!

so today is something a little bit different. im gonna show you how to do a really cute and really easy nail design. it's a very glittery and sparkley look and it's super simple to do. here is what you will need to start.

• a base coat. i used opi no chip base coat. this helps the polish stay on longer and helps prevent chipping.
  
  



• then you will need a color that matches the glitter you want to use. i am doing silver glitter so i used sally hanson complete salon manicure in the color pedal to the metal.
  
  



• then you need a clear nail polish. i used sally hansan strengthening top coat.
  
  



• lastly you will need a nail art glitter. you can buy them at sally's beauty supply stores and most beauty stores. i have the super nail brand and the color sterling silver.
  

here are the steps.

1. apply your base coat and make sure it is completely dry.




2. apply your nail polish color.you only need a thin coat since you won't really see it. it just helps the glitter to stand out more.




3. take your top coat and apply it after the color has dried. now while the nail is still wet place in INTO the glitter and move it around making sure it cover the entire nail.
   

now you will most likely have glitter all over you finger so you can either use a cotton ball that has nail polish remover on it and wipe it off or use a makeup/fluffy paint brush and sweep it off.

1. after you let the glitter sit for a minute put up to 2 layers of top coat on to help smooth out and seal the glitter on to your nails.
   

after the top coat is 100% dry you can wash your hands to make sure you have gotten all the excess glitter off and enjoy them!

bad hair days

so once again i skipped a day. i didn't get home till really late and was all ready to write something but i crashed and fell asleep. so today there is two posts. im only doing one on this blog the other is on my other blog the san diego chronicles. go check it out! anyways, back to todays topic, bad hair days. and yes, so far today has been a bad hair day. i actually had to use hairspray! i never use hairspray unless i absolutely have to. i don't like that way it feels in my hair. it makes it feel sticky and like i didn't even wash it even though i did. also i don't like the smell of it. imjust not a huge fan of the stuff. but my hair was just being un-reasonable this morning. it was all staticky and sticking up in places. so i had to resort to hairspray.

no hairspray isn't always my go-to for bad hairdays. there are many things i do when my hair isn't doing what i want it to do. most bad hair days usually mean i just french braid my bangs and pull it all up into a pony tail or i side sweep it into a fishtail braid with a cute hair clip or with my cotton on droopy knit hat. there are many other things you can do for bad hair days. like parting your hair as if you were gonna do pig-tails and french braid the tops and pull them into two high messy buns (makes it look like a teddy bear) and do that. or you can just do two simple low pig-tail braids. like i said. there are many things you can do to fix a bad hair day.

i have found that with myself most bad hair days are a sign that i need a hair cut-trim. im not actually cutting my hair the way i use to because im trying to grow it out super long. but about every 4 months i get a trim just to keep it heatly and make sure i don't have split ends. split ends are usually a helper to a lot of bad hair days. so next time you're having a bad hair day think to when your last haircut was and if it was more than 5 months ago you may be in need of a quick trim to get rid of those little monsters!

growing out your nails

i happen to know that it is not easy to grow your nails long. i have always been a nail biter and it wasn't until recently that i stopped. i know there are many tricks to stop and im not gonna say that there was some miracle trick that helped me cause there really wasn't. i just decided that i wasn't going to anymore and let them get long and what really helps is that fact that i don't want to ruin them so if i catch myself with my hands by my mouth i move them before i can start biting them and chewing on them. now just because none of those tricks didn't work for me doesn't mean they can't work for some of you. one trick that i did try was this nail polish stuff. for the life of me i can't remember what its called but it has this really nastey almost sour taste so that when you put it on its supposed to stop you from biting your nails but i just found myself peeling the polish off and picking at my nails. also something else you can try that will actually help strenghten and shape your nails is to carry around a nail file and whenever you get the urge to bite your nails just file them so you don't have any hangnails. this worked for a friend of mine but i am not a huge fan of nails files and filing my nails unless i ahve to. now remember to use something like a glass file.those cardboard ones you buy for a dollar at the drug store will damage your nails. if you want an inexpensive glass file you can one for like $5 at sephora. just ask someone who works there and they can help you find one that will work for you.

also when growing your nails out i find it that a lot of people ask me why their tips(or the whites) are so fragile. just because your nails are long doesn't mean they are healthy and strong. you need to remember to but some nail products that helps them to grow and strenghtens them. at sally's beauty supplies they probably have the largest selection of polishes that will help you grow stronger nails. i currently am using the OPI no chip polish as a base coat. this polish is more for keeping it from peeling and breaking off while growing your nails. i aslo use sally hansel strengthening top coat to keep them strong. also a really good one that ive used in the past that is more on the expensive side is nail-tek. it works really well and adheres to your nails and doesn't have a shine to it and i find that this keeps my nails from peeling while at the same time making them stronger. you can't just have long nails without taking care of them cause they are just gonna peel and break and look bad.

now there will be times where even while doing all these things you will have to cut your nails to shape them or to re-grow them for even stronger nails. the more often you trim them and re-strengthen them the better they will look and the longer they will last. i am currently re-growing my nails out and had to cut all the whites off so that i could make sure the grow back in even stronger.

oh! also try to if you can buy something like nail band-aids or silk wraps so that if a nail starts to peel like from the side or something you can fix it without it breaking off and you having to cut all your nails. i find that this also(the silk wraps) really strengthens your nails so its a good idea to use them anywas every now and them just to keep them strong. wow. i have used that word a lot today. but it is important for your nails to be strong so that they can be as beautiful as the person with them. feel free to share in the comments any tricks you have learned to keep your nails looking heatly and beautiful and remember, i am not an expert on growing nails or anything i just know what has worked for me and people i know.

sephora make up remover

so i've been using the sephora brand water-proof makeup removor for about a week now and im pretty much in love witht the stuff. i had gotten a sample and tried it not thinking i would like it but i actually liked it a lot. in fact i actually went back the other day to buy a bottle of it. for the biggest bottle its like $10.50 but it's probably gonna last me a really long time. i still havent used up all of the sample and ive used it every day for like 5 or 6 days. i just apply a little bit of to a cotton ball and wipe my makeup off and it actually comes off pretty easily. usually i just use some generic brand of lotion that doesn't have any soaps or fragrances cause my eyes are pretty sensitive and most makeup removers make my eyes burn a lot. so i was a little hesistant with the makeup remover from sephora but i don't think it has any soap in it. and it if does i can't really tell cause it doesn't bother my eyes at all. there isn't really anything negative i have to say about it other than the fact that it's kind of oily and just sits on my face after i use it so i have to wipe it all of really good or wash my face to get it all. but i like that it's easy to use and i don't have to use a lot of it for it to work. if you are going to try this product out i would suggest buying the smaller bottle to start with so you can see if you like it cause im not sure how well it would work for like professional makeup and stuff. i just use drug store brands because i like them.
the reason i got the waterproof and not the regular one is because i use waterproof eyeliner because my eyes get watery really fast when im doing stuff and i don't like when my eyeliner smears so that's why i needed the waterproof one. other than that if you don't use waterproof makeup than the regular remover would work just fine. other than that the only other thing i have to say is make sure when you wipe you don't like rub your eyelashes really hard or from side to side. just wipe downwards so that you're not pulling them out when you wash your makeup off.

feathers in your hair

since i didn't post anything on sunday im making up for it with two post today. yesterday i went to the parkway wall with my cousin and did a little shopping. i got some stuff from sephora and cotton on and claires that i needed since i forgot them in vegas. but i also got.... hair feathers! now for my friends who know me ive been saying for the longest time that i didn't like them and that i would never get them in my hair but when i was looking at them and saw some really pretty red ones i totally fell in love with them! i just had to have them! now feathers don't look good on everyone. but if you think you can pull them off then go for it! at first i was just gonna do one but as i walking around with that one in my hair for a while i decided that i really liked it and went and got another one. mine are both on my left side in my bangs so that you can really see them. i didn't want them underneath my hair (although i might get a couple of them just to see if i like it) for now i think two is enough. i don't want to overdo and kill my interest in them. i find that often times i overdo things and then get bored with them and get mad at myself for spending a ton of money on something i don't like. but i was pretty surprised at how inexpensive it was to get them.

the ones i got are the ones that the people put in your hair for you. now the clips that you out in and take out everyday. each one was only $7 and that's not too bad for something that will last 2-3 months. that's longer than most hair colors and trust me i have had plently of those in my hair! i really like that you wash them when you wash your hair. but i have to admit i sort of freaked out after i washed my hair cause they got all small and kind of shriveled looking and i didn't know if that was normal or if i did something stupid that i shouldn't have but after i dried my hair and brushed it they were fine. so if you do get them and that happens don't worry! itll be fine.

so my final thought on the new trend/hipster style of the hair feathers is that they are pretty ok. i really like how they make any outfit look cuter and that they are really easy to get put in. theres nothing damaging(that i know of so far) about them. plus they are super cute when you dno't over-do them.

my first pedicure... EVER!

Like.. OMGosh! so the other day i got my very FIRST pedicure.. and it was amazing! at first i was really hesistant because i really don't like people touching my feet cause im really tick-lish(totally spelled that wrong!) but i was surpirsed at how much i liked it. i got to just sit there and watch them do my nails for me. i almost always do my own nails and it usually takes me a while cause im really slow and i mess up a lot so it was really nice to not have to do my own nails. plus i got a really cute flower design and i would never have been able to do that on my own. plus i got a foot massage out of it and they fixed my retard nail that no matter what i do to it wont square out for me. i like all my nails to be the same and i think they look cuter when they are sqaure and not round but my pinky toe is really weird and i can never get it sqaure but now they are! and i love it!

i think the only thing i didn't like is that it was almost $40 and i don't usually like to spend that much money on something since im still just a student in high school and don't work other than babysitting. so im not sure when my next one will be but i deffinately will get one again. it was very relaxing. oh! also the place i went to was kind of busy and i didn't really like that. it felt crowded and like there wasn't enough room. but i guesse that means it's a popular place and people like it so maybe im just picky. anyways! im totally looking forward to scheduling another appointment!


sorry i didn't post anything yesterday :( i was out kind of late at the mall (got some cute stuff) so i will do a second blog later today on my new hair feathers! which i am totally loving right now!!

rain in san deigo/so cal

So far ive been in san deigo almost a full week. And so far it has already rained TWICE. now im not saying that i don't like the rain. on the contrare, i actually like the rain very much. just not when im on vacation. when i come to san diego i want it to be sunny and warm the whole time. but so far every morning its been freezing cold and it has rained. i feel like when it rains here my whole day is going to be dreary and depressing. so far my trip has been pretty fun and nothing BAD has happened (knock on wood!) i just hope it doesnt rain unless i get to watch a really cool thunderstorm. that would be totally awesome. otherwise rain to me just seems completely pointless. i don't think i could ever live in a place where it rained everyday. i would probably end up totally depressed and boring. i need sunshine to survive and thrive! otherwise im pretty much a debby downer.

clean and clear morning burst face wash

So, i have used many face washes and tried lots of things to clear up my acne. There haven't been many things that have helped but recently i have started using clean and clear morning burst face wash and so far it's worked really well. i use it every morning when i take a shower and get ready for my day and after using it for almost four months i don't really have any complaints about it and my face is actually really clear and i don't break out very much unless i forget to wash it. it has these little beads in it and when you wash your face with it they don't actually feel like they are bursting. it feels more like they are just exfolliating your face really well. plus the smell of it is really refreshing and it really does start to wake you up. Ive noticed that if i leave it on for a few minutes and let it sit it starts to tingle (in a good way) and feels like its really cleaning your face and working.
The only thing i don't really like about it is sometimes after i use it my face will start to feel sort of dry. but that usually goes away if i put a little bit of lotion on. other than that there really aren't any cons to it. its a pretty good product and it's not that expensive. it was only like $8 and i still haven't even used to all of it. I got it back in october last year and i still have about a third of it left.

living life to the fullest

I believe in living life to fullest and never letting an oppurtunity pass you by! I reacently was given the oppurtunity to go to San Diego and stay with her. At the moment I don't know how long I will be here but i dont plan on passing up this amazing chance to be here and enjoy every minute!! For those of you who have been on my blog site before you know that i sometimes don't always update and post new stuff and just let my blogg sort of fade away and dissapear! but not this time! I am going to devote myself to this and post something everyday! even if it's just a short one paragrph on what i did that day or a long review of a book or beauty product i will always post SOMETHING. i can't promise that everything i post will always be something amazing but that's just how it is. you can take it or leave it. however i will not be posting any short stories on this blog. i know i used to write shorts all the time but i am currently in a funk and haven't written anything lately. IF i do write something and feel like sharing it i will post it under my story girl blog when i have time.
